Hospital Safety & Health Officer (Kuala Lumpur)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Notify EH&S of critical accidents, unsafe conditions or work refusals
  • Prepare and maintain all safety and health-related documentation
  • Inspect & monitor the work areas to ensure it meets the safety requirements
  • Ensure that monthly inspection (Fire Extinguisher/Exit Lights/Emergency Lights) are carried out
  • Accompany staff and external agencies during workplace inspections
  • Follow up on deficiencies that are pointed out during inspections and ensure necessary steps are taken
  • Conduct safety inspection and audit the workplace
  • Conduct safety & health awareness training for employees
  • Maintain, improve the factory security management, 5S and company safety matter


  • Candidate must possess Green Bookby NIOSH (Compulsory)
  • In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g OSHA /EPA), audits and procedures especially in Hospital Incident Report
  • Candidate must possess Higher secondary, A Level, Diploma, Degree in related field
  • Knowledgable on Occupational Safety & Health act and related regulations
  • Proven experience in hospital enviroment (specialize in safety and health, fire, enviroment fields)
  • Experience in writing reports and policies for safety and health
  • Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topic
  • Initiate, organize & conduct a training for employees
  • Must possess own transport
